CIeNET Invited to the U.S. Ambassador's China Software Trade Mission in Sichuan

From May 8th to 9th, United States Ambassador to China, Gary Locke, led a delegation of leading U.S. high-tech software delegates, which included representatives from CIeNET International, to attend the U.S. Ambassador's China Software Trade Mission in Chengdu and Chongqing of Sichuan province. CIeNET was honored to be invited to this trade mission, aimed at promoting US-based software and services companies to local Sichuan companies and helping facilitate dialogues and opportunities.

Representatives from the Business Software Alliance (BSA) and well-known software businesses were among the delegation. The trade delegation visited Chengdu Tianfu Software Park, and met with Chinese government officials, and major enterprises and partners from Chengdu and Chongqing. The trade mission focused on partnership possibilities between China and U.S. software industry, covering topics like promoting bilateral trade, fostering local economic growth, and protecting intellectual property rights of software.

The software industry has been playing an important role in the trade relationship between China and U.S., indicated by an average annual growth rate of 38% in the past decade in China's software sector and has become a major market for U.S. software companies. CIeNET has also seen great opportunities during this development wave and has successfully achieved ambitious expansion goals.
